More recently, we have concentrated in the supply, install and support of refurbished B2 CtP Systems from a range of manufacturers. If requested, we can source a system, and support with the supply of consumables to complement this type of installation.
For small offset, you will note in previous “Digital Equipment” page, we have a multi-functional system, which not only allows for digital colour printing, the Xante EnPress can produce Polyester Plates for small offset print companies. This is an extremely cost-effective way for small companies to enter digital colour print, but also bring a plate making facility in-house.
ENTRY LEVEL SYSTEM FOR SMALL OFFSET
iCtPlate
This is an entry level system for small offset. In our opinion, the solution that has come out on top in terms of cost and productivity. The TUK Systems iCtPlate Solution, based on Epson inkjet technology, produces a chemistry free image on polyester plates. As this system comes in at under £5k fully installed including Simply RIP, CtP becomes a reality for the small offset printer. Normally small offset printers had to outsource proofing and film/plates, with the relevant costs, as well as loss of production control in some instances.
